Together with our parents, Peter and Angela Thomas and Wayne and Theresa Christie, we are delighted and excited to be getting married on Saturday 16 April 2011.
We invite you to join us for a beautiful weekend away at the Copthorne Resort in Omapere, Northland. We have chosen to get married under the canopy of the old Pohutakawa tree by the Omapere wharf and the reception will be held on site at the Copthorne Hotel. This is a vibrant, colorful location which we think is just perfect to frame our big day.
We plan for our wedding to have a vacation vibe and be footloose and fancy-free. While the official events will be held on the Saturday, we invite guests to arrive on Friday for a casual ‘rehearsal’ dinner and to allow you to settle in and unwind. On Saturday you can chill out, enjoy the beach, play games and frolic in the sun before the Wedding starts. Then in the afternoon, we will say our 'I do's and start the celebration. The reception will be an ala carte meal, followed by fun on the dance floor till the wee hours in the morning. Following all the revelry on Saturday night, we will have a farewell brunch at the Bach on Sunday. You can find all the details for each event in the Events tab - which will be updated regularly.
