Anyway last night we went over the wedding guest list together and Wayne even entered it into a spread sheet - what!?? Wayne on a speadsheet!! And no it wasnt the kind of sheets on the bed! He sat there patiently tapping away with one finger while I made dinner and it was cool. I actually burnt dinner (thanks to a visit from Leeanne) but the spreadsheet is brand spanking shiny new and I think we have nailed it to the final few. We really need to keep our numbers at a manageable level otherwise costs will start to sky rocket - however we also have a theory that anyone who expresses a wish to come and celebrate with us, should be able to. Now that this blog is constructed and things are starting to shape we both cant wait. Wayne even said last night he wished the wedding was sooner rather than later - we have been planning for so long! And now we are ready to strut our stuff down the aisle, say our 'I do"s with a big wedding snog and kick up our heels and have fun with you all. It is going to be the best weekend!!! Hurry up april!

The save the dates are all done and printed!! Even though it is a bit of an extra - I had fun making them and I justified the reason being that the wedding is an away wedding and this gives guests the chance to see our wedding blog and make reservations early. Now just have one more thing to print then I will send them off. Still need to chase up a few addresses however work is sooo busy at the moment it will be about a week before I hit the post box anyway. Yay I just love the creative, design part of weddings!!
Oh also had a great idea about having wish lanterns and guy fawks for later in the night. Guy Fawks is around the corner so will stock up.

It has been a while but I finally have some time up my sleeve to hit the blog again! We had a wonderful weekend away a few weeks ago up in Omapere with Wayne and Theresa and were glad to have the opportunity to show them the venue and location. We all piled in the Gold Finger (Wayne Lloyds pride and joy) and had a leisurely drive up, Lennix keeping the time and action happening on the game front! The weather was stunning, one of those beautiful mid november crispy clear days. A few stops along the way, four hours later we were there. Yes people, it is a trek but a nice one. We stopped at the huge and magnificant Tane as seen below:

It was a fantastic weekend and even warm enough to hit the pool! The next time we are there it will most likely be our wedding - WOW!!

YAY save the dates finally in the post!
This is an awesome idea Trace, so wonderful to read about your plans and share in the love you and Wayne both share. Can't wait to see you both all loved up on the big day!!! Love you both.
